Process Pulse Studio

A six-week flagship where you design, critique, and publish a performance board for one real process—with metric notes your stakeholders can defend.

Analytics dashboard with colorful charts

What you will be able to do

  • Define process KPIs with owners, formulas, and known failure modes.
  • Compose a board that separates flow health from output vanity metrics.
  • Design exception views that highlight stalls, rework, and aging work items.
  • Write a steward handoff pack covering refresh cadence, access, and changelog habits.

Studio arc

  1. Module 1 — Process interview & boundary

Map the start and stop events, handoffs, and data systems you can actually query.

  2. Module 2 — Metric dictionary draft

Write calculation notes, grain, and exclusion rules before choosing visuals.

  3. Module 3 — Flow & WIP visualization

Build cycle-time and aging views that make queues visible without clutter.

  4. Module 4 — Exception narrative patterns

Practice short briefs that explain spikes with context managers can trust.

  5. Module 5 — Stakeholder critique lab

Host a facilitated review with a process owner and revise the board live.

  6. Module 6 — Stewardship & go-live

Publish access rules, refresh jobs, and a 30-day observation plan.

Do I need a specific BI tool?

No. We teach patterns that transfer across common platforms. You should have access to one tool your organization already uses.

Can I bring a messy legacy dashboard?

Yes—many learners rebuild an existing board. Expect to delete charts that cannot be tied to a process owner.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not provide data engineering pipelines or ETL builds. If your source systems cannot expose timestamps for handoffs, your board will remain partial until IT work lands—and we will say so early rather than promise a complete platform.

Is the course remote-friendly?

Live sessions run online with optional in-person critique days in Melaka when travel is feasible for your cohort.

“Module 4 on exception narratives cut our weekly status call by twenty minutes. We still struggle with SAP extract delays, which the FAQ warned us about.”

Rating 4/5 — “Solid steward pack. The sample dataset was lighter on multi-warehouse transfers than I hoped.”
